i just auto insurance. i applied as married but i just got married outside USA to an indian girl i met in india. she has no record here in United States. What if they ask me abt my wife? am i in trouble?
and there are no proof yet of my marriege??
They most likely will never ask or check into it. However if you married outside the country you are legally married. So no your not in any trouble.

I dont think so. It is very rare that they check up on details unless its to their disadvantage (in this case its not).
The insurance company cares only and only about the car and who is going to drive it. In this case you stated that you and your wife are going to drive the car which in fact is not true. (I suppose you are the only person who is going to drive it). Then they wouldn’t even care because you would be paying more for insurance anyway since you stated that you are married.

Being married isn’t going to lower your premium. However they may ask for her name, and licenses number. In that case, just tell them the truth, tell them what you are telling us on yahoo. Unless you are lying and you’re not married in the first place.
