I am a new driver in the united states, recently bought a used car, it was working fine, now it needs to be fixed and I haven’t bought insurance for it yet, wasn’t an accident but do I need insurance to be able to get it fixed?
Only if you drive it to the repair shop. If you trailer it, or have it towed it won’t need insurance. But once fixed, to drive it home you would need insurance, so why not just get it and be done with it?
